Yummy Chocolate Chip Banana Bread

I made this bread with my mom.  You should try it! Believe it or not, I did not eat any because I do not like chocolate chips. But my mom and dad said it was yummy! This is one for my recipe book.





Chocolate Chip Banana Bread
1/2 cup of butter, softened
1/2 cup raw honey
1/2 cup rapunzel sugar
1 egg
1 Tbsp raw yogurt
3 very ripe bananas, mashed
1 1/2 cups sprouted spelt flour(can use regular flour too)
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 cup chocolate chips (we use dairy and gluten free ones)

1. Night before you make bread, put flour, butter, and yogurt in bowl. Mix and cover overnight.  We do this to help break down the grains.  It makes it gentler on our tummies. 
2. In morning, add all other ingredients except chocolate chips.  Mix well.  Stir in Chips. 
3. We use coconut oil to grease our bread baker.  Then pour the dough into the baker. 
4. Place bread in a preheated 350 degree oven.  Bake for 45 minutes, or until toothpick inserted comes out clean.  Allow to cool and ENJOY!

Turning 9

today is my 9th birthday. i am excited! my mom is making steak and potatoes for dinner. dessert is brownies. but i have already eaten one of them! to top it all off i get to drink root beer. what a great birthday!
